Randy Gregory suspended indefinitely from the NFL comes to no shock for any NFL fan who has payed attention to the pass rusher through his career. First reports came from Ian Rapoport in a tweet regarding the abuse of the NFL substance policy following Randy Gregory’s failed attempt to pass yet another drug test.
Beginning his career in the NFL Randy Gregory was predicted to be in the top twenty draft prospects for the first round, however fell to the 2nd round under pick 60 to the Dallas Cowboys after a failed drug test at the 2015 NFL combine.
While Gregory recorded six sacks in the 2018 season for the Dallas Cowboys, this was impressive if it weren’t from coming back from a full year suspension in the 2017 season.
Randy Gregory had multiple chances, including being in and out of rehab centers in California, and even having hall of fame line backer for the Dallas Cowboys, Charles Haley, helping rehabilitate the image for Gregory.
